On Thursday 14th March we went to Roots and Shoots in London with Emily, Flo and Mrs Tilley. We went on the Harrow Way minibus and it took 3 hours and a bit to get there. It took 4 hours on the way back! We went there to see Jane Goodall and to show the work we have done in school for Green Ambassadors. We shared a display of photos and things that the Year 2 children made at Green Ambassador club.  The aim of our club is to inspire younger children how to look after the planet and to recycle properly rather than everything going to landfill.

Jane Goodall came round to all the displays to have a look at what we have done to help all the animals. She is a Dame! Roots and Shoots is an event organised by Jane Goodall.

Where we had lunch was called the conservatory. All the meals were vegan.
