John Hanson Community School hosted the annual Rural School Netball Tournament yesterday. Appleshaw entered 3 teams out of the 15 teams that took part. We are so thrilled to announce that we came 5th, 3rd and 1st place with our teams. The communication between the players was excellent and all the children played really well. As always, our pupils were a credit to the school with their sportsmanship and game play. Our netball club has been running for many years and it is the pupils’ enthusiasm and support for each other that has led them to being so successful. We are so proud of every single pupil that took part – the winning was a real bonus! And the sun shone for us! Great work Appleshaw 🙂
