On Thursday 4th December  Year Two went to Jubilee Woods near Enham to plant the trees that we have been looking after for the last year. A man called  Tim showed us how to plant a tree. Then we were allowed  to do  it ourselves. First we put our tree in the hole. Then we put a stick over the hole to check if the tree was deep enough (it had to be deeper than the nursery line). After that we filled the hole with soil and squashed it down. We added mulch to the tree with our partner. We also planted poppy seeds and weaved poppies into the poppy archway.

At break time we had squash and chocolate biscuits. We were also given a hat from the Woodland Trust.
