Year 2 – Skills4Life Harrow Way

On Tuesday year 2 attended the Skills4Life festival at Harrow Way school.

The event was run by Harrow Way students and they led the children in a range of activities which develop confidence, team work and communication, as well as balance, coordination, sending, receiving and travelling skills.

Everyone had an really great time!

We loved all of the games at skills4Life. We had to go in are PE kits. Alana’s favourite game was stacking cups  we had to stack the cups. Bella’s favourite game was scarecrow and swampy River. But they were all fun really!

We went to harrow way and did sports we did elephant football ,dribble and shoot, javelins and dress the scarecrow . my favourite was crazy catch.

I HAD REALLY GOOD TIME AT HARROW WAY SCHOOL!!

I had 2 favourite things they were tennis egg and spoon and swampy river.

We went to harrow way . We  did javelin and  a dribble and shoot game.

We did cup stacking and it was fun.  We did crazy catch we had to trow the ball at the net and catch it. And we did treasure bean we had to throw the coloured bean bags in to the right coloured buckets.

I love  stacking  the cups .  It’s the best .  My other favourite  thing is the scarecrow.

We did javelin there was a line I did 3rd longest. We did cross the river. We did elephant football we uses one hand.  We did dribbling and shoot we needed to shoot the ball at the cone. We did a challenge Phoebe and Thomi won. We did crazy catch and had to throw the ball at a net.
