Mr Cole from Harrow Way came to  teach us some hockey using Quicksticks.

I thought I learnt a lot. I don’t really know hockey and didn’t know how to hold the stick. I am left-handed so it was very difficult. We did 1V1 and I beat my partner but he did a good job defending me. Shea

When you do hockey, the flat side of the stick needs to be the side that hits the ball. When you are sending a pass you need to push the ball and not whack it like golf. You must face your partner with your foot when you pass the ball to them. Tatty
